I am a Pediatrician and an Associate Professor specialized in Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition. I have over 15 years of experience in gastrointestinal, pancreatic, and liver disease and nutrition. I completed a fellowship at the Department of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Great Ormond Street Hospital in London.
Since 2004, I am working in the Team for Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition and take care of inpatient and outpatient children with gastrointestinal diseases (inflammatory bowel disease, celiac disease or intestinal failure requiring long-term parenteral nutrition), patients with congenital, acute or chronic liver disease and after liver transplantation.
I have performed >500 upper endoscopies, 25 upper endoscopies including banding of varices, 25 upper endoscopies including PEG, 440 lower endoscopies, 7 colonoscopies including polypectomies, and 27 liver biopsies.
I am an active researcher in the area, I speak at international conferences, and am a reviewer for several medical journals.
I appreciate quick answer. Also this answer confirmed previous approach how to treat my diagnosis setup by a local specialist.
