About me

I am a professor of neurosurgery sub-specialised in paediatric neurosurgery. I am currently the head of the Paediatric Neurosurgery section at the Tübingen University Hospital, Germany. I am also the head of the Peripheral Nerve Surgery section and head of the Adult Hydrocephalus Program at the Tübingen University Hospital.
I am the author of 87 publications in peer-reviewed journals and 9 book chapters. I am a member of the editorial board or a reviewer for a number of medical journals in the fields of paediatric neurosurgery, neurology, and critical care. I am also a recipient of numerous European and German awards and a co-founder of the German Interdisciplinary Forum of Pediatric Neurosurgery.
